Yoga Republic

Your journey of restoration and self awareness begins here.

The ultimate goal of Yoga is stilling the mind and gaining insight, resting in detached awareness.

A discipline leading to oneness (Aikyam) with the Divine (Brahman) or with one's Self (Atman).

The ultimate goal of our yoga studio is to help you achieve the state of Samadhi and abide in that state.

Kundalini

This form will open your heart, build strength and activate the energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine, which is referred to as the Kundalini energy. One of the oldest known forms of yoga, Yogi Bhajan brought it to the United States in 1968. With it being one of the more spiritual forms of yoga practice, with an emphasis on breath and movement which presents both a physical and mental challenge.

Air Yoga

Air Yoga

Air Yoga is fast becoming one of the most popular forms. Enjoy all your yoga poses but upside down in a specially designed fabric hammock (suspended from the ceiling)! You’re fully supported and able to manoeuvre into different poses. It’s a combination of yoga, Pilates and dance, with lots of inversions thrown in for good fun. It’s great for building core and upper body strength, and can relieve compressed joints and even align the body from head to toe

Yin / Restorative

Yin / Restorative

Yin yoga, allows us to work on the deeper ‘yin’ tissues of our ligaments, joints, deep fascial networks and even our bones. It’s a slow-paced yoga with each pose held from anything from 3-10 minutes. These long holds really allow the time to tune in and observe the breath creating a powerful mind-body connection. Yin yoga is a great complement to our crazy rushed city lives.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is all about continuous movement – and most importantly, matching that movement with breathing. Regular practice will enable you to match each movement with a breath in, or out and attain mental peace as you allow your busy brain to focus on the movement and breath. The focus is on movement and grace.
One of the more intense styles of yoga we offer at our studio, taking you both mentally and physically to new levels of connection.
